Carine Visser a PiacenzaThe past few months I have been studying at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Piacenza in the framework of the Erasmus Programme. I attended the lectures together with another Erasmus student from France. When I arrived in Piacenza, I found out that there were also international students from different Programmes, such as Master or Double Degree programmes. USCS gave me different options and I was able to choose different courses all in English. Luckily, I was able to finish all my courses in time and pass all the exams.

But enough about the university. I would like to share my experience with you. The past few months passed by so fast and I really enjoyed my time in Piacenza. I can describe Piacenza as a typical Italian City with a family culture and friendly inhabitants. Also, students are really friendly and try to become your friends. There are different activities organised by Smint Piacenza and some clubs in the centre. If you want to experience a new culture I would definitely recommend you to go to Italy. The food and wine are absolutely amazing, the atmosphere is relaxing and you can enjoy an Aperitivo in any bar or cafeteria in town. I must say it has been an fantastic journey and I will support everyone who wants to go abroad and for sure Italy!

Ciao!
